D.N.A. is a leading designer, manufacturer, and marketer of skateboard equipment, soft goods, and accessories for the skate market. The Ohio-based company was originally founded in 1990 by Chris Carter and Mike Hill with Alien Workshop under the D.N.A. brand. Since then, the Company has grown and is comprised of three branded operating units, which include Alien Workshop, Habitat, and Reflex Bearings. The product catalog under the D.N.A. licenses includes logos, decks and wheel graphics, T-shirts, sweatshirts, and other apparel designs. 

The Sage Group served as the exclusive financial advisor to D.N.A. in researching sale opportunities in the market. In early 2008, the Company selected to partner with The Burton Corporation and will work together to the boardsports culture.
