Founded in 1977 by brothers Ken and Jay McLaughlin, the brand designs apparel and accessories for men and women with an emphasis on impeccable craftsmanship and timeless American tradition of sport, work, and play. The Sage Group was engaged by J.McLaughlin ownership to pursue a second sale of the company. Ultimately, J.McLaughlin selected Brentwood Associates for their experience in both the DTC and retail channels that will become a unique source for the brand’s growth.
