J Brand is a leading designer, marketer, and manufacturer of premium denim products, and has established worldwide brand recognition of its exceptional style. In mid-2008, J Brand engaged The Sage Group to initiate the M&A transaction. The Company selected to recapitalize with Star Avenue Capital, a consumer growth equity vehicle recently formed in partnership with private equity firm Irving Place Capital and leading entertainment and sports agency Creative Artists Agency (CAA).
