Adrianna Papell (the “Company”), a leading occasion dress and everyday sportswear platform and a portfolio company of KarpReilly Growth Investors, has completed a recapitalization with Trive Capital. The Sage Group initiated the transaction and served as exclusive financial advisor to Adrianna Papell.
Founded in 1980, the Company began with a vision to help all women feel their most beautiful – creating soft silk dresses in artful prints. Adrianna Papell’s 45-year history of designing elegant dresses that range from day to evening and classic to contemporary is complemented by its growing sportswear offering. The Company has a diversified distribution strategy, selling through major U.S. retailers and internationally with a presence in department stores and multi-brand stores in addition to its proprietary e-commerce site.
Adam Berkman (CEO) and Jaynee Berkman (Chief Creative Officer), both children of founder Harvey Berkman, and the Company’s existing management will continue to run the business from their headquarters in New York, New York, in collaboration with strategic insight from Trive Capital.
