Rails (or the “Company”), a leading designer, manufacturer, and retailer of premium contemporary apparel for women and men, has received a minority investment from SK USA and Peterson Partners. The Sage Group initiated the transaction and served as exclusive financial advisor to Rails.

Founded in 2008 by Jeff Abrams in Los Angeles, California, Rails blends the casual comfort of Southern California living with a sleek sophistication. Rails is known for its timeless staples, and has garnered acclaim for its simple, versatile, and accessible pieces that draw on influences from international travel to metropolitan living. Rails uses premium fabrications in classic silhouettes, creating collections that are innovative, relaxed, and refined.

Rails has evolved over the years into a global lifestyle brand offering a full contemporary collection, including shirting, denim, outerwear, loungewear, and other adjacent categories for women, men, and children. Its products are sold in 47 countries across nearly 1,200 retailers, including key global department stores, prestigious “mini majors,” premium specialty boutiques, and leading online retailers, as well as its own e-commerce site.

Rails will strategically partner with SK USA and Peterson Partners to widen its reach in existing and new markets, broaden its product offering, and strengthen its global distribution, including expanding its direct-to-consumer initiatives.
