Phil Himelstein is a founder of The Sage Group and has been a Director since its inception. He is a principal in more than 30 investment partnerships focused on the real estate, healthcare, medical device and insurance service industries. Mr. Himelstein is currently chairman of the Indiana Hemophilia and Thrombosis Center, a 501(C)(3) public charity and one of the largest federally recognized comprehensive treatment centers in the U.S. He is also chairman of the California Medical Innovations Institute, a 501(C)(3) public charity focused on vascular disease, heart failure and metabolic disorder.
After receiving his L.L.B. from Harvard Law School, Mr. Himelstein practiced law with the firm of Cox Castle and Nicholson until 1992.
